TourMEGADETH announces U.S. tour dates with MESHUGGAH, TESSERACT & LILLAKE

Last month there was a rumor floating around that Megadeth would be touring with Meshuggah, Tesseract and Lillake, though the band then announced a massive tour with Scorpions. Megadeth has now announced that exact tour with Meshuggah and the crew for June and July, though the tour seems fairly short.

TourHIM Announces Farewell Tour

Finnish rock favorites HIM, often associated with their “love metal” sound, have announced that they are calling it a career, but not without saying their farewell to fans on the road with one final major tour.

At present, the start date for their touring comes Jun 14 in Barcelona, Spain at Razzmatazz and wraps Dec. 17 at London’s Roundhouse. However, there is a big gap in their scheduling between July and November and the band has teased that U.S. and Finnish dates will be announced soon. Tickets for the band’s farewell tour will go on sale at 9AM local time this Wednesday (March 8). See all of their currently scheduled dates below and stay tuned for additional tour dates.

A few weeks back, The Dillinger Escape Plan got a rude awakening as a truck crashed into their parked bus and trailer, destroying all of their gear, and leaving them bruised up. Sadly, the truck driver was killed in the accident. The band were in no condition to perform and were forced to cancel all of their dates.

The tour kicks off on April 6 in Albuquerque, N.M. before a series of three dates spread throughout Texas. Making its way eastward to Florida and then along the East Coast and upward into Canada. The back half of the jaunt will go through the Midwest and drop down the West Coast before finishing up in Las Vegas, Nev. on May 20.

No North American dates for the ‘Images and Words’ run have been announced yet, but if the band’s 2016 touring schedule is any indication — the band premiered ‘The Astonishing‘ live in Europe first, then brought the show to the U.S. — hopefully there will be soon.

SYSTEM OF A DOWN announce 2017 European festival slots

system-of-a-downSystem Of A Down have announced that they’ll play at several European festivals next summer. The band haven’t been seeing playing together since last year’s shows marking the 100th anniversary of the Armenian genocide. But last month, bassist Shavo Odadjian posted a picture on Instagram showing drummer John Dolmayan behind his kit.

Now they’ve announced a run of summer shows, including appearances at the Download festivals in Paris and Madrid.

BON JOVI announce 2017 tour, push back new album’s release date

bon-joviA handful of fans have already gotten to hear all of Bon Jovi‘s new album in concert, but next year a whole lot more will also get their chance to see the band onstage. Bon Jovi have announced 20 concerts in support of their upcoming album, ‘This House Is Not for Sale‘, starting on Feb. 8 in Greenville, S.C., and wrapping up six weeks later in Indianapolis. In between, they’ll play shows in Atlanta, Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Cleveland.

‘This House Is Not for Sale’, originally scheduled for release on Oct. 21, has been pushed back a couple of weeks to Nov. 4. It marks Bon Jovi’s first album with longtime guitarist Richie Sambora, who left in 2013, during the band’s ‘Because We Can World Tour‘.

KORN to tour Europe with HEAVEN SHALL BURN, HELLYEAH

IRON MAIDEN announce 2017 European Book Of Souls tour

iron-maiden_tourIron Maiden have announced a further European leg of their Book Of Souls World Tour for 2017 – with a string of UK shows included.

A total of 16 dates have been announced, kicking off in Antwerp, Belgium, on April 22 before three shows in Germany, eight in England, two in Scotland and one each in Ireland and Wales. The UK leg marks Maiden’s first full UK arena tour in six years. The Antwerp gig marks Maiden’s first appearance in the city since the Killers tour in 1981.

The German leg sees Maiden perform in Oberhausen, Frankfurt and Hamburg before dates in Nottingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Newcastle, Liverpool, Birmingham, London, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Cardiff and Dublin.
